The After Show Family vs. The Matinee Family. The After Show Family: Unique gel-to-oil cleansers designed to remove every trace of makeup. Meant to be applied to dry skin and either rinsed or removed with a warm wet washcloth. Purposefully leaves behind moisture on the skin’s surface. Most often, they will constitute the first cleanse in a double cleansing process. The Matinee Family: Non-foaming, water-based cleansers. Can be applied to wet skin (Cream Cleanser can also be applied to dry skin). Easily rinses away with water. Can be used as the first or second cleanse in a double cleansing process but will constitute the second cleansing step when paired with one of the cleansers from the After Show family.
